My weight loss journey did not start with the pounds melting off. It started back in college when Jesus Christ delivered me of an addiction to food. Since then it has been a constant battle changing my eating habits from sweets, fast food, frozen meals and soda to fresh fruits and veggies, whole grains, lean meats and water. It was incredibly hard to exercise since I found it boring and many times I felt too tired to do it. But the Lord gave me a versus to cling to during those difficult times, Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through him who gives me strength.

The more I lost, the slower it came off. Then, Dr. Beth started giving me some advice on what to do different to get the scale moving again. Now, I can proudly say, I’m at my goal weight of 140!
